Highway High
Highway accident are very frequent, and if you ask any driver whose fault is in the accident. You will get a good reply back saying ' It's the other driver's fault. He was driving on the wrong lane.' or sometimes 'He lost control. I was minding my own business driving peacefully and bothering no one.' Bottom line....no one accepts their fault. You will never har anyone saying, 'It was my mistake. I over speeded' Recently my friend Sandesh had witnessed another accident. However this was a little different. He was driving his Indigo on this highway. His friend who was in the car had get down so he went changing lanes to his left and slowing down gardually. And eventually came to a stop at a place his friend got down. Apparently there was this another Indigo who was behind Sandesh's car all the time. The other car saw an oppurtunity to over take and sped up. He might have reached at around 80 to 90 kmph. Where suddenly from nowhere this donkey jumped on the raod and started running acros the road as if it were in a hurry to reach the other side. And the car failed to put brake on....and hit the donkey at full speed. What happened next was equally funny and a little scary. The donkey went flying down to the ground and the tumbled down the road. Then somehow managed to get to his feet and ran off the highway. Every body just stared at the incident. No one said anything. No one shouted. Even the donkey ran off silently. Some people stared at the donkey and then stared back at the car. Even the guy in the car stopped his car and then in disbelief drove away. No one got hurt. I guess the donkey learnt his lesson not to cross the highway. He might as well use the Zebra crossing instead.
